Give Back with Thanks Event...Purse Packing!!

Here we are the 18 happy purse packers...well, 17 one had to go home before the picture was taken. Our 50 purses, each in a different size, shape, style and color were packed full of wonderful items donated off the list by each of the packing ladies...We had wonderful snacks and fellowship as we packed...Special prayers were said as each item went into each purse for the lady who would receive it. Our day concluded with a visit from Jamie from the Crisis Center who spoke to us about what these purses would mean to the ladies she works with, the signs and behaviors of an abuser, and the services available to women in South Suburbia.
